Unless otherwise specified, all materials appearing with this business, including the text, site design, logos, graphics, icons, and images, as well as the selection, assembly and arrangement thereof, are the sole property of Carver’s Ridge. No materials from Carver’s Ridge may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. Any unauthorized use of the materials appearing on other sites may violate copyright, trademark and other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil penalties. The Carver’s Ridge logo will appear on all items engraved or otherwise customized by Carver’s Ridge. We have the right to photograph personalized or custom items for our promotional purposes.

Materials

Please note that our stones are all-natural, so each one is different. There will be natural imperfections and blemishes in every stone. Stones are placed in bins together that may cause minor chips or scrapes on the surface, this will not lessen the life or quality. Not every stone will be symmetrical. If you request a custom order, you will see your stone on the proof and at that time you can request a different stone. We do not show the backside of the stone in proofs as it will not be visible when the stone is lying flat. Each stone is hand selected to best suit the design. Our glassware, metal, leather and wood items may also have minor defects such as small bubbles, different cut lines, etc. These are natural parts of the material, any poor-quality items have been sorted out prior to production.

Payment

Additional fees will apply for: rush orders, cut stone, shipping/delivery, clear coat (sealant) on entire rock, additional paint colors (1 included), additional design/illustration work, and photo transfer. 

Credit Cards

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on ­file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon in store payment and/or placement of your order.

Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, Company Checks, & Personal Checks

We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, local personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.

Taxes

Carver's Ridge shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within Iowa. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Carver’s Ridge reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

Typographical & Pricing Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, we have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Carver’s Ridge shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged and your order is canceled, we immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price. In the event Carver’s Ridge creates a typographical error in processing your order, we will remake your item at our expense if notified within 14 days.

Returns & Replacements

If Carver’s Ridge is given incorrect information or spelling by the customer, the customer will pay 65% of the retail price to remake the order. If you are unhappy with your non-personalized purchase, we will gladly accept their return or exchange for 14 days from the date of receipt (minus shipping & handling costs). Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 14 days from the date of receipt. Because curated items are ordered in a limited supply, those damaged in shipping may not be eligible for replacement. If the damaged item is out of stock, you will receive store credit in lieu of a replacement. This return policy also applies to personalized orders that have defects in manufacturing or workmanship.

Cancellation Policy

Orders that have entered the production phase cannot be cancelled. If an order requiring a proof has been approved and moved into production, there will be no refund given. A customer has the right to cancel any order that has not moved into production. However, an order that has received a proof but has been cancelled before production will only receive a partial refund to cover the time spent preparing the proof.  

Multiple Product Orders

For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products at the same time. Products unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt.

Out-of-Stock Products

We will ship your product as it becomes available. There may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. In the event of out-of-stock products, you may cancel your order at any time prior to production. 

Shipping Policy & Shipping Time

Most orders will ship within 48 hours of completed production. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday. We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by Carver’s Ridge or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability. For store pick-up orders, you will be notified by phone and email that your order is ready for pick up. Please check voicemail and email when you are expecting your order. Orders must be picked up within 30 days of notice that the order is complete.

Custom Orders

You will receive a proof of your design by email within 2-5 days. Please be looking for an email from our designer (be sure to check junk folders if you don’t see it). Please respond promptly to this proof with your approval or requested changes. Once proofs are approved, please allow 5-7 days for completion of your order. To avoid production delay, please approve your proof within 48 hours. Changes beyond a third proof will result in additional fees. We allow up to 4 different design options within the first design phase. You’ll be allowed to make revisions/changes to your proof 2 times at no charge after you receive your initial proof. After the second revision, you’ll be charged $10 for each revision until you make your final design approval. Once final design approval is received, allow 10-15 business days for order completion, unless other arrangements are agreed upon by the customer and Carver’s Ridge.

Same Day Engraving

Same day engraving is only eligible on certain designs within specific product lines. Items ordered same-day will be available 24 hours later. Saturday same day orders will be available for pick-up after 4 pm on Monday. Same day engraving may not be available during peak times.

Other Conditions

These conditions will supersede any terms and/or conditions you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether Carver’s Ridge signs them or not. We reserve the right to make changes to the conditions at any time.

Privacy

We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our site or in store, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, address, & phone number. We use this information to process your orders, to keep you updated on your orders and to personalize your shopping experience. Our secure servers protect your information using advanced encryption techniques and ­firewall technology. To keep you informed about our latest offers, we may notify you of current promotions, specials and new additions to the Carver’s Ridge site. You may unsubscribe from our newsletters by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from us. When entering any of our contests or prize drawings, you provide your name, email address and mailing address. If you win, we will send the prize to the address entered and notify you by email. When you enter a contest or drawing you are also included in our newsletter list. You may unsubscribe from this news list by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email received.  

We use "cookies" to keep track of your current shopping session to personalize your experience and so that you may retrieve your shopping cart at any time.

Special Offers & Discounts

Certain products not eligible for offers or discounts (including clearance items), and such designation will appear on the product detail page. Limit one offer or discount per order. Offers and discounts will appear at last checkout screen and cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. Offers and discounts do not apply to gift certificates, delivery, shipping & handling, taxes, or third-party hosted products (e.g. food items).
